- How your availability matches up with our needed shift coverage
- Overall employment history
If you have a high degree of confidence that you are a good fit for this job, and if you would like to speed up the hiring process, please complete the online assessment that we require of all of our applicants before hiring them.
A link to this assessment will be provided in the confirmation e-mail you will receive upon submitting your application, but you can also click here to go directly to the assessment, which typically takes about 30-40 minutes.

Assessment Review
After you have completed your online assessment (the one provided in your "application received" confirmation e-mail) and had your introductory interview, our team will work quickly to identify which applicants are a best fit for the currently-open positions, and we will contact THOSE applicants for a second interview.
During this phase we may also ask you to complete other online assessments or to assist us with materials pertaining to obtaining your driving record, performance of background checks, etc.
If selected for the second round of interviews, we can't wait to chat again and truly decide if you are a good fit for our team, and to help you decide if WE are a good fit for YOU.
If you aren't chosen for the second round, we still thank you for your time and your interest. Either way, we will let you know via e-mail whether or not we are moving forward with your application.

Formal Interview
Our formal interview typically takes about an hour, and may be performed in person or via a video conferencing app such as Zoom. This interview typically happens with more than one member of our management team present, and is concentrated mostly on finding applicants who are the best fit for our team and at-work community.
During this phase we will continue to work with you to obtain information such as your driving record, background check, drug screening etc.. Please respond to these requests as quickly as possible so that your possible hiring won't be delayed.
PLEASE NOTE: Water Taxi works hard to protect the health, safety and well-being of our crew, our passengers and the public. Additionally, attention to safety is naturally a requirement of our partners and insurers.
Since the tour guide role involves operating equipment - in this case passenger vessels - it is classified as a "safety-sensitive" job under Oklahoma law. Therefore it remains subject to both pre-employment drug screening and mandatory randomized testing during employment, including screening for THC.
